UCOPIA Supports the Wi-Fi4EU Program for Expanding the Availability of Wi-Fi in Europe

 UCOPIA provides an additional 20% discount for all projects falling under the WiFi4EU scheme and which includes a UCOPIA license

This European program for the development and promotion of Wi-Fi helps selected local authorities in the EU deliver first-class public Wi-Fi. Sponsored by the European Commission, WiFi4EU program aims at supporting the deployment of state-of-the-art Wi-Fi access across 8,000 municipalities in Europe, thus landing Internet access in areas poorly covered by fixed-line and mobile networks. The call for tenders initiated in March 2018 makes it possible for local public bodies to apply on http://www.wifi4eu.eu/ for a voucher worth up to € 15,000 that will cover the equipment and deployment costs of Wi-Fi access points and technologies.

To supplement to this public support program, UCOPIA will grant an additional 20% discount, applicable to any project involving a local body chosen to participate in WiFi4EU, and whose project includes a UCOPIA license.
